Our friends over at the GWCC (Georgia World Congress Center) in Atlanta wanted us to re-concept an existing Starbucks space into a dual purpose coffee shop and bar. In the morning hours the space would act as a coffee shop and in the evening transform into a bar/lounge. We designed a space that evoked the charm of a coffee shop while still maintaining the industrial cool of a city bar. The juxtaposition of wood and copper finishes along with some ornamental tables you might find in your grandmas basement say, “i’m cool without being pretentious.”
